World Travel Expo Year 10 Opens at SM North Edsa, Inspiring Travelers to Explore, Connect, and Dream
Quezon City was abuzz today as World Travel Expo (WTE) Year 10 officially opened at SM North Edsa, The Block. The first leg of the milestone celebration welcomed travelers, families, friends, and solo adventurers eager to explore new destinations and create unforgettable experiences.
Event Organizer Miles Caballero opened the ceremony with a reflection on the past ten years of WTE. He reminded attendees that travel is about more than destinations—it is about experiences that transform lives. “Back then, we did not know how many stories would begin inside these halls,” he said. “A first airplane ride. A long-awaited family reunion. A honeymoon finally booked. A solo trip that changed someone’s confidence forever. Those were not just transactions—they became memories.”
The expo showcased an impressive array of local and international exhibitors, from airlines and tour operators to lifestyle brands, all offering exclusive travel deals and immersive experiences. Attendees discovered interactive booths, workshops, and sessions designed to guide them in planning their next journeys.
But beyond travel packages and promotions, WTE Year 10 emphasized the deeper impact of exploration. It highlighted how travel fosters understanding, strengthens empathy, and supports local communities. Families, friends, and solo travelers alike were reminded that each journey, no matter how small, contributes to broader cultural connections and meaningful experiences.
Visitors of all ages were seen marveling at the exhibits, capturing photos, and sharing laughs with fellow attendees. Many shared their excitement for finally being able to step away from the pressures of daily life, enjoy the moment, and create memories that will last long after the event.
Miles Caballero concluded the opening ceremony with a heartfelt message: “Ordinary trips become extraordinary journeys, and simple moments become exceptional memories. We hope that everyone who walks through these halls leaves inspired, refreshed, and ready to explore the world with curiosity and joy.”
The SM North Edsa leg of WTE Year 10 runs until March 8, 2026. The expo invites all travelers, local and international, to explore, plan, and dream big for the journeys ahead.
